Malibu Boats Qld hosted their first ever Malibu Muster on Boxing Day December 26th in Grafton. The weather was threatening but the 7 boats full of owners & friends headed off anyway. The plan for the day was to complete a Treasure Hunt/Challenge List whilst making your way from the Big River Ski Lodge to the Lawrence Tavern for a BBQ lunch. The challenges included building a sand castle, a beer coaster at Ulmara Pub, ice creams at Maclean & so on. The weather held until almost everyone was out of the boats & inside the Lawrence Tavern, the poor boat drivers got drenched whilst anchoring in the creek. On the return to the Ski Lodge the rain continued with nobody skiing or boarding on the way back. Mark & Cherrie Sheldrick were voted winners with Mark doing a wakeboard ride by in Cherrie’s bikini. Not very pretty but was very funny. Everyone involved had a great day, Malibu Boats Qld will be holding other Malibu Musters throughout the year.
