Malibu team skier Samantha Mead was last night crowned Australian under 17 girls overall champion at the awards ceremony in Perth following  5 days of competition. With the pressure of family and state expectation Sam showed true fighting spirit to take out the title by 118 points. To add to Sam’s win she was also selected as a reserve skier for the junior worlds in Italy later this year. With the pressure off and selection in the team now secure Sam can get on the job and get back to the skiing and scores previously achieved to elevate her from reserve to team skier

Askew does it for the fans

Malibu team rider Jarrod Askew spent some time hanging out with the fans in QLD last weekend.
Along with Freestyle rider Cam Sinclair, Jarrod visited City Beach in bother Surfer’s Paradise and Brisbane, to meet and greet, and sign posters for fans.
Cam Sinclair is hot property in the Freestyle Industry as you may or may not know , he is a mad wakeboarder and spends a lot of his time when back in Aus up in Echuca riding behind the old family boat. Check out his latest crash on You Tube, and you will see how this guy holds nothing back when riding at a freestyle moto event.
