Wakeboard NSW Round 2 for the season was held on Sunday 26 October at Windsor just north of Sydney on the Hawksberry River. The weather could not have been better and the brand new Malibu VTX supplied by GRE Marine looked equally nice in Blue as the Red one used in Round 1. How nice it is to go Wakeboarding behind a different brand new Malibu every competition day of the year. |

| Being the second round the riders really stepped up a notch with some very close competition and making it pretty obvious that the riders had been out on the water over the past month with some very impressive riding across all divisions. The VTX when loaded really pumped out a nice clean wake that even the “Open Men’s” division gave the nod of approval and even made the Dodgy Dads look good in a couple of photos which is probably the biggest testament to any boat manufacturer. Its one thing getting the pro’s looking good but to get the Dodgy’s- “now that’s a boat”! Ben and the boys from “Liquid Malisha” arrived for the day with the pimped out LM Ute & trailer of tricks, with also some great new gear on display for our riders to view. Unfortunately with a part missing from the rail we ended up with a great kids pool for the day with Ben basically being Lifeguard, probably just what he needed being Mr. Dad these days. Hopefully next round we can see the boys in action on the famous LM slider. A big thank you to Liquid Malisha being one of our sponsors for the 2009 year and also providing some great prizes to our division winners. Whilst mentioning names on the support side, I also delivered a swag of gear from “Wing” for a few of the divisional prizes; it’s great to have the continued support to Wakeboard NSW not only from “Wing Wetsuits, but also Waterskiers Warehouse and Switch Boardstore supporting us for season 09. We have some great quality companies supporting our division this year so when next looking at that new 09 boat or gear make sure you go to the guys supporting your sport and Wakeboard NSW. Round 3 is Sunday 23rd November at Windsor with the 7.15am riders briefing and 7.30am start for the under 9’s.
